Overview
This plan guides you through the entire Bible (66 books, 1,189 chapters, all verses) in 365 days, following the historical timeline of events. Readings are organized into thematic or historical groupings, with each day averaging ~3–4 chapters (2–5 chapters/day to balance the load). Job is placed between Genesis 11 and 12, Psalms are split across David’s life and post-exilic eras, and New Testament epistles are ordered by approximate writing date, with Revelation last. Use a study Bible or app (e.g., YouVersion) for context and tracking.
Instructions
- Read the assigned chapters each day, starting with Day 1 and ending with Day 365.
- Adjust pacing for heavier days (e.g., 5 chapters) by splitting or combining with lighter days.

From Creation through the patriarchal period (circa Creation to 1700 BC), covering the origins of the world, humanity’s early history, Job’s trials, and the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.
Exodus and Wilderness Beginnings (Days 26–57)
Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, covenant at Sinai, and early wilderness wanderings (circa 1446–1406 BC), including laws for worship and society.
Wilderness and Conquest (Days 58–74)
Israel’s final wilderness preparations and conquest of Canaan (circa 1406–1400 BC), including Moses’ speeches and Joshua’s leadership.
Judges and Early Monarchy (Days 75–101)
Israel’s cycles of sin under judges and the rise of the monarchy under Samuel and Saul, with early Davidic psalms (circa 1375–1010 BC).
